Continuing education units for Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, approved by the
Virginia Board of Certification, will be given out on the day of the training. Six
hours credit available for the full day of 4 workshops: Trauma Informed Care,
Malaina Poore; Advance Directives, Cynthia Elledge; Ethics for Peer Recovery
Supporters, Mary McQuown; Telling Your Own Story, Bonnie Neighbour.
You do not have to be a Certified PRS to attend this training. You may attend any
number of workshops.
